Brewers vs Padres Game 4 at a glance

How to watch Brewers vs Padres Game 4

FS1 is the primary national English-language television option listed by MLB. FOX One and Fox Deportes are also shown in the current schedule. Because the first pitch is 10 p.m. Eastern, this is the final game on Wednesday’s MLB postseason slate.

Why Game 4 matters

Milwaukee enters with a 2-1 series advantage. A Brewers win sends Milwaukee to the next round. A Padres win forces a decisive Game 5 in Milwaukee on Friday, October 9.

Walker Buehler gets the ball for San Diego

The Padres’ official probable-pitcher page lists right-hander Walker Buehler for Game 4. The page lists his regular-season line at 9-6 with a 4.63 ERA and 131 strikeouts. Milwaukee had not locked in a named starter on the same listing when AVARIXO checked, so a precise Brewers starter should not be invented before MLB updates the matchup.

What happened in Game 3?

San Diego stayed alive in the series with a 4-3 win in Game 3, cutting Milwaukee’s advantage to 2-1. That result made Game 4 an elimination game for the Padres rather than a potential sweep.

Game 5 scenario

If San Diego wins, MLB currently lists Game 5 for Friday, October 9 at 4:30 p.m. ET / 1:30 p.m. PT at American Family Field in Milwaukee. It would be a winner-take-all contest.

Official sources

Time, venue and broadcast information were verified against MLB’s postseason schedule. The announced San Diego starter was checked on the Padres’ official probable-pitcher page.
