Echo Weaver arrives day one on October 8
Echo Weaver is a time-loop Metroidvania built around knowledge as progression. Microsoft describes time as the player’s most important resource, with exploration and learned information helping break the loop. It arrives on cloud, Xbox Series X|S and PC for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members.
The game also supports Xbox Play Anywhere, making it one of the more flexible October 8 releases for players who switch between Xbox hardware and PC.
Forever Ago and Neon Abyss 2 also land October 8
Forever Ago is a single-player road-trip adventure about Alfred, who travels north after a tragedy while taking photographs and meeting people along the way. Microsoft lists it as a day-one Game Pass release.
Neon Abyss 2 joins the same day for Game Pass Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass. The sequel keeps the fast roguelike action structure and expands its cyberpunk-styled combat and item combinations.
Battlefield 6 joins Game Pass October 13
Battlefield 6 is the largest established franchise in this wave. It arrives on October 13 for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass through the EA Play benefit. Microsoft lists cloud, Xbox Series X|S and PC support.
Ultimate members also receive EA Play benefits associated with the game, including eligible digital-purchase discounts and the currently listed in-game EA Play package. Those perks can change by season, so players should verify the live benefit page before claiming.
Valor Mortis and Deep Dish Dungeon are day-one additions
Valor Mortis is a first-person action soulslike from the creators of Ghostrunner, casting the player as a resurrected former soldier in a supernatural version of the Napoleonic era. It launches into Game Pass on October 13.
Deep Dish Dungeon also arrives day one. It combines handcrafted dungeon exploration, puzzles, survival elements, crafting and online co-op.
What else is coming later in the wave?
Bluey’s Happy Snaps and Chained Beasts are scheduled for October 15. Bluey’s Happy Snaps is a family-friendly photography adventure with solo and two-player play, while Chained Beasts is a cooperative roguelike built around gladiators physically linked by chains.
Beyond These Stars follows on October 16 for PC, offering a city-building concept set on the back of a giant space whale.
Which games leave Game Pass on October 15?
Microsoft says the following titles are scheduled to leave the library on October 15:
- A Plague Tale: Requiem
- Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
- Crime Scene Cleaner
- Donut County
- Evil West
- Nova Roma (Game Preview)
- Pacific Drive
- Superball
- The Casting of Frank Stone
Members who want to keep playing after removal can check the Game Pass member discount before the games leave. Save data normally remains tied to the user’s Xbox profile, but continued access requires ownership once a title exits the subscription catalog.
