The World’s Strongest Witch anime begins in Japan on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. Crunchyroll has included the series in its Fall 2026 simulcast lineup, but its current seasonal page still lists the international subtitle airtime as October 7, Time TBA. That means a precise Crunchyroll hour should not be invented from the Japanese TV schedule.
For viewers trying to watch as soon as possible, the confirmed timetable starts with Japanese television at 10:00 p.m. JST on Tokyo MX. Other Japanese channels follow later, while Crunchyroll’s exact international release hour remains the key detail to watch.
The World’s Strongest Witch Japanese broadcast schedule
| Channel | First broadcast | Japan time |
|---|---|---|
| Tokyo MX | October 7 | 10:00 PM JST |
| BS11 | October 7 | 24:00 JST (midnight into Oct. 8) |
| TV Aichi | October 7 | 26:05 JST (2:05 AM Oct. 8) |
| AT-X | October 9 | 9:30 PM JST |
| MBS | October 10 | 26:38 JST (2:38 AM Oct. 11) |
Japanese TV listings often use hours beyond 24:00 to keep late-night programming attached to the previous broadcast day. So “26:05 on October 7” means 2:05 a.m. on the calendar date October 8.
What time is The World’s Strongest Witch on Crunchyroll?
Crunchyroll confirms the series for October 7, but its Fall 2026 lineup currently says Time TBA. Until that entry is updated, any exact U.S., UK or European Crunchyroll time is an estimate rather than a confirmed platform timestamp.
This distinction matters because Crunchyroll simulcasts do not always appear at the same moment a Japanese terrestrial channel starts. Licensing delivery, subtitles and platform scheduling can create a delay. The correct approach is to use October 7 as confirmed and wait for Crunchyroll’s episode page or lineup to show the actual airtime.
Where will it stream?
Crunchyroll has the anime as part of its Fall 2026 simulcast slate in its announced territories. The platform’s seasonal lineup is the best source for international availability because rights can vary by country even when a title is broadly distributed.
If the show does not appear when it is already October 7 where you live, that does not automatically mean your region is excluded. Anime release dates are frequently tied to the Japanese broadcast date or a U.S. platform schedule rather than local midnight.
What is The World’s Strongest Witch about?
The fantasy series centers on a powerful witch whose abilities place her far above ordinary magic users. The premise mixes high-level magic, fantasy-world conflict and character-driven comedy and drama. For new viewers, the important point is that the anime is not arriving as a sequel that requires watching an earlier television season.
Crunchyroll’s seasonal placement makes the October 7 premiere one of several midweek Fall 2026 anime launches, which is also why exact simulcast time information is valuable: multiple Wednesday titles can arrive several hours apart.
How to convert the first Japanese TV time
Tokyo MX’s 10:00 p.m. JST broadcast equals 1:00 p.m. UTC. On October 7 that is 9:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time, 6:00 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time, 2:00 p.m. British Summer Time and 3:00 p.m. Central European Summer Time.
Those conversions tell you when the Japanese broadcast begins; they are not a promise that Crunchyroll will publish the episode at those exact times.
Will new episodes be weekly?
The Japanese television schedule is structured as a weekly series, so viewers should expect new episodes on the same general weekday unless the official broadcaster announces a change. Crunchyroll’s simulcast should likewise follow the weekly run, but individual episode dates can shift because of special programming or production decisions.
Is an English dub confirmed?
Do not infer an English-dub schedule from the subtitle listing. Crunchyroll often announces dubs separately, sometimes with a same-day date and sometimes later. The current confirmed point for this guide is the subtitled Fall 2026 simulcast listing.
What is still unconfirmed?
- The exact Crunchyroll release hour for Episode 1.
- A universal release time that applies to every country.
- Any dub time not separately announced by the platform.
- A complete episode count unless the production committee publishes one.
Separating those unknowns from the confirmed Japanese schedule avoids one of the most common anime-release errors: turning a television time in Japan into a made-up global streaming time.
