NCIS Season 24 Release Schedule: Episode Dates and Streaming

Quick answer: NCIS Season 24 premiered Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at 8 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. CT) on CBS. CBS and Paramount Press Express list the series in a regular Tuesday 8-9 p.m. slot, with streaming on Paramount+.

Season 24 begins with “Wayward Son” and brings Michael Weatherly back as Tony DiNozzo. CBS has confirmed the time slot but has not yet published a full-season episode total or a complete list of air dates, so this guide separates confirmed information from the expected weekly pattern.

NCIS Season 24 episode schedule

The authoritative schedule source is Paramount Press Express, which says Season 24 premieres October 6 and airs Tuesdays from 8-9 p.m. ET/PT. Dates farther out can move because of holiday programming or network changes.

When can you stream NCIS Season 24 on Paramount+?

Paramount Press Express states that Paramount+ Premium subscribers can stream live and on demand, while Essential subscribers get on-demand access the day after an episode airs. In practical terms, the CBS broadcast remains the first fixed weekly time, with Paramount+ availability depending on plan.

What happens in the Season 24 premiere?

The premiere, “Wayward Son,” deals with the fallout from the shooting involving McGee’s son and a new threat to the Secretary of the Navy. Tony DiNozzo returns to help the team after arriving in Washington to establish a satellite office for his private security firm.

Because the premiere resolves threads from Season 23, viewers who skipped the previous finale may benefit from a quick recap before starting Season 24.

Michael Weatherly is back as Tony DiNozzo

CBS lists Michael Weatherly “with” the Season 24 cast as Tony DiNozzo. His return is more substantial than a one-scene nostalgia cameo and is a major reason search interest around the new season has accelerated.

The core cast still includes Sean Murray as Timothy McGee, Wilmer Valderrama as Nick Torres, Brian Dietzen as Jimmy Palmer, Diona Reasonover as Kasie Hines, Katrina Law as Jessica Knight and Gary Cole as Alden Parker.

How many episodes are in NCIS Season 24?

CBS has not announced a final total on the current official schedule page. Coverage published around the premiere notes that only the early episodes were formally dated before launch. That means any site showing a complete season of exact dates months into the future is extrapolating unless CBS has subsequently updated its listings.

This guide will therefore use the confirmed Tuesday slot and clearly label later dates as the expected weekly pattern.

What time is NCIS on in each U.S. time zone?

• Eastern: 8 p.m.
• Central: 7 p.m.
• Pacific: 8 p.m. local CBS schedule

Mountain and local affiliate schedules can vary, so check your local CBS listing if the program guide shows a different time.

The new three-hour NCIS Tuesday lineup

Season 24 opens a full franchise night:

• 8 p.m.: NCIS Season 24
• 9 p.m.: NCIS: New York
• 10 p.m.: NCIS: Origins Season 3

For viewers following more than one series, recording or streaming the block can be simpler than tracking separate nights.

Is NCIS Season 24 on Netflix?

New U.S. episodes are tied to CBS and Paramount+, not a same-day Netflix release. Older-season availability on third-party services can change by region and licensing period, so it should not be used as a guide to where Season 24 streams first.
