Quick answer: NCIS: New York airs on CBS Tuesdays at 9/8c. CBS also promotes the series through Paramount+, but live-channel access and on-demand timing can depend on your plan and country.
This guide focuses only on watching and streaming the series. AVARIXO’s separate release schedule tracks episode dates, while our cast guide explains the new team.
What channel is NCIS: New York on?
The primary U.S. broadcast is CBS. The series sits between the flagship NCIS and NCIS: Origins in a three-hour Tuesday franchise block.
| Series | U.S. time |
|---|---|
| NCIS | 8 p.m. ET |
| NCIS: New York | 9 p.m. ET |
| NCIS: Origins | 10 p.m. ET |
Can you stream NCIS: New York on Paramount+?
Yes. CBS promotes the series for Paramount+ as well as broadcast television. The exact experience depends on the subscription tier: some plans may include a live local CBS feed in supported markets, while on-demand availability can follow the broadcast.
Because plan names and streaming rights can change, check the Paramount+ listing on the day you watch rather than assuming every subscription includes the same live option.
How to watch live without traditional cable
You can watch through any service that carries your local CBS station, subject to market availability. If your Paramount+ plan includes the live local CBS feed, that can also be an option. Otherwise, next-day or on-demand access may be more practical.
When should new episodes appear?
The normal CBS slot is Tuesday at 9/8c. Streaming availability follows the network’s release process, but exact timing can vary by platform, plan and region.
What about international viewers?
Do not assume the U.S. Paramount+ schedule is identical worldwide. Different countries can have separate rights windows, catalog availability and release timing. Search the local Paramount+ catalog or the official broadcaster in your market.
What if the episode is missing?
- Confirm the episode actually aired on CBS and was not preempted.
- Refresh the Paramount+ series page after the U.S. broadcast window.
- Check whether your plan includes live CBS or only on-demand access.
- Verify that the series is licensed in your country.
- Check the local CBS affiliate if live TV is showing different programming.
Can you watch from the beginning if you miss the live broadcast?
On-demand streaming is the best option when you miss the 9 p.m. broadcast. Availability may not appear at the exact second the TV episode ends, so allow for platform processing and regional differences.
