How to Delete a Roblox Account Permanently (or Deactivate It)

To permanently delete your Roblox account, open your Roblox Privacy settings and choose Delete under Account data, deactivation & deletion. How to request permanent Roblox account deletion

1. Sign in to the Roblox account you intend to delete.
2. Open Privacy settings.
3. Find Account data, deactivation & deletion and choose Delete.
4. Make sure the account has a verified email address, then follow Roblox’s identity-verification prompts.
5. Keep any confirmation or follow-up message until the request is resolved.

If you cannot log in or need help with deletion, Roblox says you can use its official support form. Avoid third-party ‘instant deletion’ websites, strangers requesting one-time codes, or links sent in unsolicited messages.

How to deactivate your account instead

Open your Roblox privacy settings and choose Deactivate under Account Deactivation and Deletion. According to Roblox, deactivation disables your user account and hides your profile. It does not guarantee every public trace disappears: for example, listed Marketplace content may still be visible. Signing in can reactivate the deactivated account, which makes this the better choice if you are undecided.

What to do before requesting deletion

• Check purchases and Robux. Do not treat deletion as a way to recover paid purchases, reverse past transactions, or transfer your balance. Review billing and subscriptions separately.
• Save your own important information. Review creations, group or community management responsibilities, Roblox messages and login details that you may need for records. An account-data request is different from deletion.
• Review linked accounts and devices. Sign out of shared devices, and make sure the email address is accurate before you begin.
• Think about your communities. If you administer a group, arrange ownership and permissions before giving up access. Changes to community ownership can be hard to reverse.

Can you delete Roblox from an iPhone or Android phone?
