Discord Halloween 2026 Ringtone: Dates, Devices and How to Enable It

Quick answer: Discord’s 2026 Halloween event is now fully live. The limited-edition Halloween sound pack and ringtone became available on October 7 and remains active through November 2, 2026. It works on the Discord desktop app and in supported desktop browsers, but not on iOS or Android. Discord also added a Halloween app icon, loading animation and a ringtone collaboration with The Living Tombstone.

The event sits inside Discord’s broader Cauldron Chaos Halloween campaign, which also includes Shop collectibles and a Nitro-gifting reward. This guide focuses on the new in-app Halloween features that arrived on October 7 and how to turn them on or off.

How long is the Discord Halloween ringtone available?

Discord’s Help Center says the 2026 Halloween ringtone is available from October 7 through November 2, 2026. The feature is temporary and is not offered as a downloadable sound file.

Which devices support the Halloween sound pack?

That device restriction is one of the biggest points missing from quick social posts about the event. If the Halloween ringtone is not appearing on a phone, there is nothing to troubleshoot: Discord says the 2026 event sound pack is desktop and browser only.

How to enable the Discord Halloween sound pack

Discord says the sound pack should become available automatically from the event launch time. If it has been disabled, you can turn it back on manually:

1. Open Discord on desktop or in a supported desktop browser.
2. Open User Settings.
3. Select Notifications.
4. Find the Sounds section.
5. Turn on Enable Halloween Sound Pack.

Discord’s support article states that the 2026 pack was scheduled to become available automatically at 10:00 AM PST on October 7.

How to turn the Halloween ringtone off

If you prefer Discord’s normal sounds, return to User Settings > Notifications and switch off Enable Halloween Sound Pack. Discord says the client will return to its default sounds.

What else changed for Discord Halloween 2026?

Discord’s official Halloween blog says the October 7 in-app update includes:

• a limited-edition Halloween app icon;
• a Halloween loading animation;
• a special ringtone collaboration with The Living Tombstone;
• the temporary Halloween notification sound experience.

Those features are separate from the Cauldron Chaos Shop collection, so users do not need to buy a cosmetic item just to hear the event sound pack.

What is Cauldron Chaos?

Cauldron Chaos is Discord’s larger October 2026 Halloween campaign. Discord introduced the event on October 1 with a witch character named Lottie and her familiar Hex. The Shop collection runs alongside several time-limited rewards.

Discord says that through October 14, users who collect four items from the Cauldron Chaos drop can receive an exclusive fifth collectible. Gifted items can count toward the four-item requirement.

What is the Nitro familiar reward?

Discord also says that gifting Nitro to a friend through November 3, 2026 can summon one of three familiar-themed avatar decorations: Hex, Crowseph or Umbra. Discord describes the reward as yours to keep after it is earned.

Can you download the Discord Halloween ringtone?

No. Discord’s Help Center says there is no downloadable file for the 2026 Halloween ringtone. It is available only inside the Discord client during the event window.
