Brewers vs Dodgers NLCS 2026: Full Schedule, Home Fields and FOX TV Guide

Quick answer (October 8, 2026): The Milwaukee Brewers will face the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 2026 National League Championship Series. The best-of-seven matchup starts Sunday, October 11, at American Family Field in Milwaukee. Game 2 is October 12, and the series moves to Los Angeles for Games 3 and 4 on October 14–15. FOX Sports holds the U.S. television rights across FOX and FS1, with FOX Deportes and FOX One among the listed viewing options. Exact first-pitch times and game-by-game channel assignments should be checked against MLB once finalized.

The matchup was settled Wednesday night, October 7, when Milwaukee defeated the San Diego Padres 3–1 in NLDS Game 4 to win its series 3–1. Los Angeles had already beaten the Atlanta Braves to advance. That makes this a rematch of the 2025 National League Championship Series, but with a new result still to be decided.

2026 Brewers–Dodgers NLCS schedule: all seven possible games

This is the 2-3-2 home-field format: the team with home-field advantage hosts the first two games and the final two possible games. The lower-seeded host gets the three middle games, if the series lasts that long. Unlike the Division Series, the League Championship Series requires four wins to clinch the pennant. Once either team reaches four wins, remaining games will not be played.

These dates come from Major League Baseball’s official 2026 postseason calendar. There is no need to infer game dates from last year’s Brewers–Dodgers meeting: the 2025 NLCS used a different calendar and broadcasting agreement.

Who has home-field advantage, Milwaukee or Los Angeles?

Milwaukee has home-field advantage. The Brewers finished the regular season with an MLB-best 103 wins, ahead of the Dodgers’ 100, and the series therefore opens at American Family Field. Games 1 and 2 are scheduled for Milwaukee, with a return to that city for a possible Game 6 and Game 7. Los Angeles hosts Games 3 and 4 plus a possible Game 5.

That home-field assignment is important for readers buying tickets or planning travel: Game 1 is not at Dodger Stadium, and tickets from the 2025 series cannot be treated as 2026 dates or locations.

What channel is Dodgers vs Brewers on?

The official MLB and FOX calendars list FOX, FS1, FOX Deportes and FOX One for National League Championship Series broadcasts. Depending on the specific game, the telecast may be assigned to broadcast FOX or the FS1 cable channel; avoid assuming a particular game’s channel before a confirmed listing appears.

FOX One is also listed for postseason streaming, subject to the service’s availability and subscription terms. An over-the-air FOX station is different from FS1, which generally requires a pay-TV or eligible streaming subscription. Check your provider guide for local FOX availability and whether FS1 is included.

For Spanish-language coverage, MLB lists FOX Deportes among the national options. The exact audio and channel offerings can vary by provider, country and subscription package.

What time does NLCS Game 1 start on Sunday?

The confirmed calendar places Game 1 on Sunday, October 11, 2026. Early reporting describes an evening matchup, but the official schedule’s game-specific first-pitch time is still subject to confirmation. Readers planning travel or setting reminders should follow the MLB postseason schedule or the teams’ live schedule pages for the finalized local time, rather than copy a placeholder time shown by a generic sports calendar.

Milwaukee uses Central Time and Los Angeles uses Pacific Time; an Eastern Time broadcast announcement should be converted correctly for either city. Daylight saving time remains in effect in both cities during the October 11–19 series window.

How did the Brewers and Dodgers reach the NLCS?

Milwaukee closed out San Diego in Game 4

The Brewers beat the Padres 3–1 on October 7. Garrett Mitchell supplied a decisive defensive highlight by taking a potential tying home run away from Manny Machado in the ninth inning. Milwaukee’s pitching staff protected the lead to secure a 3–1 division-series victory. That erased any need for a fifth game and settled the NLCS matchup before the weekend.

Los Angeles eliminated Atlanta

The Dodgers advanced by defeating the Braves in their division series, giving the club a third straight trip to the NLCS. The two teams now meet with both recent postseason history and home-field advantages worth examining, but neither result guarantees a particular winner in 2026.

Does the 2025 NLCS result matter?

The Dodgers swept Milwaukee in the previous year’s National League Championship Series. Historical playoff results help explain the rivalry and make the rematch newsworthy; they do not automatically carry over to 2026. Milwaukee enters with the right to host a potential deciding game, while Los Angeles has an opportunity to win another pennant with a team that has reached this stage repeatedly.

In the 2026 regular season, the Brewers edged the head-to-head series with Los Angeles 4–3. That is a useful snapshot of recent meetings, but a seven-game postseason series will be driven by current pitching, availability, defense, travel and late-game decisions.

When is the 2026 World Series?

MLB’s published postseason calendar lists World Series Game 1 for Friday, October 23, 2026. The Brewers–Dodgers winner represents the National League against the eventual American League champion. The World Series starts on a different network assignment from the NLCS in some services, so viewers should check the World Series broadcast separately instead of assuming every streaming package carries both.
