Jamie Foxx: Take Care of Yourself: Hulu Release Time and What to Know

Jamie Foxx: Take Care of Yourself premieres Wednesday, October 7, 2026 on Hulu in the United States, on Hulu on Disney+ for eligible bundle subscribers, and on Disney+ internationally. The new Hularious comedy special presents Foxx in a more reflective chapter while still centering his stand-up performance style.

For viewers searching on release day, the key details are simple: October 7 is the confirmed streaming date, Hulu is the main U.S. home, and Disney+ carries the special internationally.

Jamie Foxx: Take Care of Yourself at a glance

When does Jamie Foxx: Take Care of Yourself come out?

Hulu’s official press page confirms a Wednesday, October 7, 2026 premiere. In the U.S., Hulu subscribers can stream it through Hulu, while eligible Disney bundle customers can access Hulu content through Hulu on Disney+.

Disney+ is also the international home for the special in supported markets. Catalog availability can still vary by territory and subscription setup.

What time will the special be available?

Hulu confirms the date but its press page does not advertise one universal global clock time. Hulu originals commonly appear during the service’s normal overnight content refresh in the U.S., but platform timing can vary.

If the special is not visible immediately after midnight in your location, refresh the Hulu app, reopen the title page or check again later in the release window. International Disney+ timing can also differ by market.

What is Take Care of Yourself about?

Hulu describes the special as an honest, evolved chapter for Foxx, built around self-care and the way his perspective has changed with age. Current release coverage indicates that Foxx discusses lifestyle changes, getting older, interactions with younger audiences and everyday situations while keeping the material rooted in comedy.

The title itself sets the theme: this is less about a single topical event and more about how Foxx looks at his life, health habits and relationships from a new vantage point.

Is this a documentary or stand-up special?

It is a stand-up comedy special under Hulu’s Hularious banner. Some listings may place it under broad “documentary” or entertainment metadata, but viewers should expect a comedy performance rather than a conventional documentary film.

That distinction matters because searches around the title can surface generic Hulu release calendars that do not clearly explain the format.

What is Hularious?

Hularious is Hulu’s stand-up comedy brand, bringing original comedy specials to the service from established and rising performers. The lineup has included comedians such as Bill Burr, Nikki Glaser, Jim Gaffigan, Sebastian Maniscalco, Kumail Nanjiani, Ilana Glazer, Roy Wood Jr. and others.

Foxx joins that roster with a special that combines his celebrity profile with Hulu’s ongoing investment in stand-up.

Is this Jamie Foxx’s first stand-up special?

No. Foxx has a long history in comedy as well as acting and music. Current release coverage identifies Take Care of Yourself as his latest stand-up hour following previous specials and performances across his career.

That background is important for viewers who primarily know him from films or music: comedy was a major part of his career before and alongside those other fields.

Where can you watch it in the U.S.?

The main U.S. destination is Hulu. Subscribers who use the Hulu on Disney+ experience through an eligible bundle may also be able to find it from within Disney+.

If you only have a standalone Disney+ subscription in the U.S., do not assume that every Hulu title is automatically included. Check your specific subscription and account access.

Where can you watch it outside the U.S.?

Hulu’s press materials state that the special will stream on Disney+ internationally. Exact availability can differ by country due to local licensing and catalog rules, so the Disney+ title search in your territory is the best final check.

Why the October 7 release could generate heavy search interest

Foxx remains a major cross-entertainment name, and the special arrives during a busy October streaming week. Release-day searches are likely to focus on where to watch, whether it is on Hulu or Disney+, what time it drops and whether it is a stand-up special or documentary.

Many broad “what’s new on Hulu” lists provide only the title and date. A dedicated guide is more useful because it separates U.S. and international streaming paths and clarifies the format.

What else arrives on Hulu around October 7?

Hulu’s early-October lineup includes other new releases and returning programs, but Take Care of Yourself is one of the higher-profile originals of the week because it is built around a globally recognizable performer.

Viewers browsing Hulu’s October slate should search the exact title rather than relying only on the comedy category, especially during the first hours after release.

How to find the special on Hulu

1. Open Hulu on or after October 7.
2. Search for Jamie Foxx: Take Care of Yourself.
3. If it does not appear, update or restart the app.
4. Check the Hularious collection if your app surfaces it.
5. For Hulu on Disney+ bundle access, search the same title in Disney+.
